What it is
This is a program in which Japanese embassies or consulates abroad conduct recruitment and the primary screening of applicants, then recommend selected candidates to MEXT. Applicants must first undergo the Primary Screening at the Japanese embassy or consulate in their country of nationality.
We last checked this against the funder's own page on 2 Oct 2026. We take no commission from any funder or university.
