1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Oxbrivy platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Oxbrivy is an AI-powered study-abroad platform for individual students. It helps you discover best-fit international university programs, check your admit chances, find scholarships you qualify for, draft and critique application documents (statements of purpose, letters of recommendation, resumes, and essays), track your applications, and prepare for student visas and interviews. The Service is accessed via oxbrivy.com and any associated subdomains, and through the Oxbrivy mobile app and browser extension.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individual students planning to study abroad. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• Notify us immediately at admin@oxbrivy.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Not share your credentials with any third party.
• Not create accounts for automated bots or non-human actors without our consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or unsolicited communications.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload or submit another person's personal data (including on their behalf) without their permission, or attempt to access another user's account.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to the Service without our written consent.
• Use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or misrepresent yourself to any other person, institution, or scholarship provider.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and explains what personal data we collect from you, why, and who we share it with. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about yourself.

7. AI-Assisted Features

The Service includes AI-generated content and estimates — document drafts and critiques, admission-probability scores, scholarship matches, chat responses, and mock-interview feedback. These are provided as guidance only. Oxbrivy makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated outputs, and admit-probability bands, scholarship matches, and interview feedback are estimates, not guarantees. Final decisions on admission, funding, and visas rest solely with the universities, scholarship providers, and government authorities you apply to — never with Oxbrivy.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, and documentation, belong to Oxbrivy or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You retain ownership of data and content you upload to the platform. By uploading content, you grant Oxbrivy a limited licence to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Fees and Payment

Some features require a paid subscription, purchased and billed through the Service via our payment processor. Subscription terms and pricing are shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy or required by applicable Indian law. We reserve the right to modify pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Oxbrivy's total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim or (b) ₹10,000. In no event shall Oxbrivy be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Oxbrivy harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your breach of applicable law, or content you upload that infringes or misuses another person's rights or personal data.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for material breach of these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will provide a 30-day window to export your data before deletion, unless prohibited by law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice via the platform or email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
