Before moving to Tokyo, he was Distinguished Professor and Head of International Collaborations at Zhejiang Gongshang University, and has held visiting or advisory roles at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and Soochow University, Taiwan. He formerly served as Dean and Director of law schools in New Delhi, leading growth, outreach, enrolment development, academic branding, and admissions strategy.
Earlier, he headed Academic Programs for South Asia across ten countries at the ICRC, served as Associate Director of HPCR at Harvard University, and remains affiliated with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. He is the author of The Complete Handbook for Applying to Top Universities in the US and UK, and has been actively counselling study-abroad students since 2024.
